"From the past history of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, the modern dog draws
its character of indomitable courage, high intelligence, and tenacity.
This coupled with its affection for its friends, and
children in particular; his
off-duty quietness and trustworthy stability, makes them the
foremost all purpose
dog."
Welcome to
Ultima Staffordshire Bull Terriers!
Our goal is to produce exceptionally sound Staffords and to preserve the
Stafford of the past.
We are a small family run operation located by Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. We
have been involved with Staffordshire Bull Terriers since 1998. All of
our Staffordshire Bull Terriers are well adjusted family members and do
not live in dog runs. Our dogs compete in conformation, obedience,
agility, flyball and weight pulls. Our dogs are known to try just
about anything even herding and skijorring!!!! However, the best job
our dogs have are being loving, devoted, family pals.
It is our belief that a Stafford should be balanced structurally (eg. 15
inches tall, 15 inches long, head circumference would be 15-16 inches and
weight would be 33-35 pounds) so that it remains quick and agile on it's
feet. It should have a solid and unwavering temperament that can be
trusted in any situation no matter how intense. A Stafford should also
be intelligent with a willingness to learn and the drive to get it done.
A Stafford is only a Stafford when it exhibits all of these components.
It is also our belief that there are no "bad" dogs!
We breed occasionally to replace our own personal breeding stock
and to share this wonderful breed with other families. Puppies and
adults can be adopted on occasion.
Staffordshire Bull Terrier re-homing is part
of our mission as a responsible breeder. Please consider an older dog and
give them a second chance to be loved. If you are interested in
becoming a foster home please contact us.
Go out and meet a Staffordshire Bull Terrier today, as it will be one of the most rewarding
experiences you will ever have! Be prepared to be power licked!

I think we need a love seat?
